Executioner sword with the marks from Johannes Wundes, german ca. 1600. Griffhilze of very well-preserved Rayskin.

Wide, double edged blade. Blade width continuously 6 cm. Place slightly rounded, almost straight. Blade without chamfer with two-sided King head brand by Johannes Wundes. Single-sided “VIM VEIRE PELLERE LEICIT” and gallows inlaid with brass. Same inscription on a sword in the National Museum in Munich. Back “Johannes Wundes” with wheel inlaid in brass. Length 117 cm.
